I am generally interested in understanding the fundamental mechanism of how cells coordinate their behaviors in space and time to form 3D multicellular structures and perform higher-level biological functions, especially during embryogenesis. My current research applys my PhD expertise in cell mechanics and biophysics to understand the synchronization of segmentation clock, sorting behaviors between WT and HOXKO cells, and the pattern formation process in in vitro somitogenesis using somitoids and segmentoids. I enjoy hiking, photography, and frisbee in my spare time.
